Kinetic Motor Joins Hands With Dilip Chhabria

Kinetic Motor Company has joined hands with auto designer Dilip Chhabria to produce a new limited edition of 2,500 scooters named "DC edition Kinetic". While Dilip Chhabria's design studio, which has designed the vehicle, will do the bodyline work for the scooter, it will have Kinetic's 100cc engine, and will be marketed and sold by Kinetic through its dealerships.

Kinetic is targeting the "presence-conscious" youth for the product, which will be offered in the metros and the mini-metros.

Arun Firodia, chairman of Kinetic Motor said, "Our scooters are renowned for their technology. This special edition scooter is our way of making an offering to those who look for the reliability of a classic, proven vehicle, but want to stand out in a crowd and make a distinctive statement."

 

Dilip Chhabria said, "I enjoyed taking the popularity enjoyed by Kinetic scooters and enhancing the proposition to appeal to a select segment."

Senior company officials said that it is the first time anybody has pioneered the concept of a Designer Bike, adding that the company has been launching a slew of new products with appeal while delivering the advantage of auto gears and auto fuel cock, among others.

Kinetic Motor Company, the largest manufacturer of ungeared scooters in India, currently offers scooters in the 75cc-115cc engine capacity range. Zx Zoom, Style and Marvel are some of its current offerings.
