GlobalLogic Inc has expanded its joint product development centre in Bangalore, which it had launched in partnership with LumenData, a company specialising in enterprise data management.
Peter Harrison, CEO of GlobalLogic, said in a statement that GlobalLogic is looking for highly-skilled engineers with several years of experience to join its team. “The Bangalore centre is critical to our recruitment efforts in India. It is an important technology hub that gives us access to a pool of highly-talented engineers,” Harrison said.
GlobalLogic specialises in product R&D and runs engineering centres in eastern Europe, Israel, China and the United States. Its services range from market analysis and product conceptualisation to migration, testing and support.
LumenData, a Oracle partner, helps customers map out their enterprise data strategy and governance, implementing software and providing ongoing maintenance. LumenData’s new Bangalore hub will implement Oracle’s data management products, including its master data management, business intelligence, fusion middleware and data quality.
“We needed a partner specialising in product development and services, one with solid experience developing products on both the Oracle and Siebel platforms. But beyond that, we also needed a team that could customise our solutions for our customers,” said Nimish Mehta, CEO of LumenData, in a statement on the company’s partnership with GlobalLogic.
GlobalLogic has ongoing partnerships with over 150 technology companies in product vertical markets that include consumer, telecom, healthcare and enterprise.
Its clients include companies like BroadSoft, Electronic Arts, Intalio, Motorola, NextPoint, Oracle, Vertica and Yahoo!. The company is headquartered in Vienna, Virginia, with product engineering centres and offices throughout the US, India, Ukraine, China and Israel.
