Mayfield Ventures to buy 20% stake in Talview

Talview provides a platform for recruiters to screen candidates effectively bringing in substantial savings

Talview (previously known as Interview Master), a video interview platform based on the concept of asynchronous video interviews, has received an undisclosed amount of follow-on funding from venture capital fund Mayfield Ventures.

Interview Master was earlier incubated at Venture Nursery, the angel-backed start-up accelerator established in March 2012. At the time of incubation,Talview had secured seed-funding from angel investors at Venture Nursery including Anand Ladsariya, Amit and Arihant Patni, Anirudh Damani, Bharat Banka and Ravi Kiran.

According to sources in the know, Mayfield is buying about 15-20 per cent stake in Talview. The customers of Talview include Wockhardt, JSW, Renault, Singapore Airlines, Resouce Hunters and Rank Junction.
 

Talview provides a platform for recruiters to screen candidates effectively bringing in substantial savings in terms of time & efforts related to face to face or telephonic interviews. The venture was co-founded by Sanjoe Tom Jose, K. Subramanian, Tom Jose and Jobin Jose. Sanjoe, an alumnus of IIT Bombay, has worked with National Instruments and Larsen & Toubro.
