A delegation from Qatar will review the facilities at major Indian airports as it's national carrier prepares to start an airline in India.

The civil aviation ministry has informed airports in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi about the impending visit. Names of delegates have not been shared but could include representatives of Qatar Airways as well. 

"We have been informed that 6-8 delegates from Qatar will be reviewing facilities at major airports," said an executive from one of the airports. The visit was expected to begin from next week but may have been rescheduled.
