E-waste generated from the end-of-life electrical and electronic goods including computers and electronic gadgets in India is growing at 30 per cent annually, according to BK Soni, chief executive officer of Ecoreco, an e-waste recycling company based in Mumbai. He also said though 95 per cent of the e-waste was commercially recyclable, only 5 per cent of it was being put to use through the recycling process.
