President on two-day visit to Nashik from today

President Pratibha Patil is on a two-day visit to Nashik from November 27.
 
On Tuesday, the President will inaugurate the new building 'Prasadalaya', built by Shirdi's Saibaba Trust, in the morning. The trust has spent around Rs 24 crore for 'Prasadalaya', which is spread over 2.85 hectares.
 
On the same evening, Patil would inaugurate the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University's 11th intra-university Ashwamedh Sports competitions at the Maharashtra Police Academy ground.
 
On Wednesday, at 11 am, she would inaugurate the 'Lokpratyarpan' (dedication to public) ceremony of the Mumbai Education Trust's Bhujbal Knowledge City. At 4.30 pm, she head to the Dadasaheb Gaikwad auditorium where she will inaugurate the Nashik Festival and Yashwantrao Chavan Planetarium.
 
Governor SM Krishna, chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, agriculture minister Sharad Pawar, apart from union and state ministers, will accompany the President.
