The third round of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) for the JEE Advanced qualified students had been put on hold under the directive of the Supreme Court in response to a plea which required a new merit list to be released because of the 'bonus marks' given. The Supreme Court however withdrew its directive and asked all the IITs to continue conducting the admission and counselling process that would have been initiated on July 7 (Friday).
