Press Trust of India New Delhi
Cardamom prices rose 1.72% to Rs 754.50 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions, triggered by export and spot demand.

Besides, tight arrivals from producing regions also supported the uptrend in cardamom futures.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in November up by Rs 12.80, or 1.72%, to Rs 754.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 7 lots.

Similarly, the spice for delivery in December jumped up by Rs 3.10, or 0.42%, to Rs 729.10 per kg, with trading volume of 454 lots.
