Muthoot Finance shares slip 5% after June quarter result; brokerages mixed

For the quarter ended June 2020, Muthoot Finance posted a 53.46 per cent YoY rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 853.51 crore.

Shares of Muthoot Finance, one of India's leading gold financing companies, declined over 5.5 per cent on the BSE on Thursday, a day after the company declared its financial results for the quarter ended June 2020 (Q1FY21). 

At 09:29 AM, the stock was trading around 4 per cent lower at Rs 1,207.50 on the BSE against Wednesday's close of Rs 1,256. The stock hit a low of Rs 1,185.40 in the early deals on Thursday. In comparison, the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex was trading 0.82 per cent lower at  38,297.51 levels.
