'Golden Man' Bappi Lahiri was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 63rd Filmfare Awards for his contribution to the Bollywood music.
"Thank you Jio Filmfare. I am very happy. I would like to dedicate it to my parents, wife and my full family. It's a hard work of 46 years," he said while receiving the trophy.
Vidya Balan, who was also on stage to give him the award, termed the moment to be "special", as according to her, the 'Disco Dancer' singer gave her the most successful song of her career.
