England captain Eoin Morgan has insisted that his side would maintain their new-found aggressive style to one-day cricket despite suffering a three-wicket defeat to New Zealand in the third ODI in Southampton on Sunday.
England fell short of posting an imposing target after losing five of their wickets in the space of 14 runs and were eventually bundled out for 302.
The visitors, however, chased down the target with an over to spare as Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor smacked contrasting centuries to steer their side to victory as well as lead the five-match series 2-1.
Morgan, who scored his third successive half-ton, said he was happy they scored 300 in the manner that they did, insisting that they want to continue playing with that attacking mindset, the BBC reported.
The skipper further said that the team consists of lot of young players and it would take longer than one series to get back to winning ways.
Morgan added that they would maintain this aggressive mindset throughout this series and the rest of the summer.
