Lamborghini introduces the spruced-up non-street-legal version of their new supercar Huracan - all-new Huracan Super Trofeo race car. The racer spec supercar was unveiled at the Quail Motorsports gathering in Carmel. This ceremony is the part of the Monterey Car Week which will be concluded on Sunday with the coveted annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Based on the Lambo's new supercar Huracan, the track-only beast version costs a whooping amount in the vicinity of $300,000. If you think that was enough, well you need to shell few extra bucks on every race to compete. The car will take part in the Blancpain Super Trofeo racing series with the same spec car difference being the driver. The race consist of three individual series in namely, North America, Europe and Asia; the three finalists will meet for the world final!
Maurizio Reggiani, Director, R&D, Lamborghini stated at the event,“The Huracan Super Trofeo is an all-new car built from scratch with a clear racing concept.” He further added that, “We believe the car will be as fun for fans to watch as it will be rewarding for our racers to drive.”
