JK Tyre & Industries announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 16 March 2016, inter alia, has considered and approved the following, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company:1. Appointment of Shreekant Somany as an Additional Director in the category of Independent Director for a term of five consecutive years. Shreekant Somany is not related to any Director of the Company.
2. Appointment of Anshuman Singhania as Whole-time Director of the Company for a term of five years with immediate effect. Anshuman Singhania is not related to any Director of the Company.
