Kwality was up 1.93% to Rs 87 at 13:38 IST on BSE, with the stock recovering on bargain hunting after a recent sell-off.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 220.82 points or 0.67% at 33,217.58. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index advanced 0.6%, underperforming the Sensex.
On the BSE, 4.99 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.76 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 90.25 and a low of Rs 86.25 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 169.05 on 20 April 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 81 on 21 February 2018.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 23.80 crore. Face value per share is Rs 1.
Shares of Kwality had fallen 14.56% in the previous four trading sessions to settle at Rs 85.35 yesterday, 20 March 2018, from its close of Rs 99.90 on 14 March 2018.
Net profit of Kwality declined 53.6% to Rs 20.94 crore on 12% rise in net sales to Rs 1773.27 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.
