At least 11 people were killed in a coal mine explosion in China's Guizhou province Thursday, media reported.
The accident happened in Songlin coal mine in Songhe town of Pan county. At the time of explosion, 19 people were working underground and eight of them managed to survive, Xinhua reported citing local authorities.
The rescue operation is going on.
The mine explosion was reported one day after a coal mine fire killed 26 workers in northeast China's Liaoning province.
