The upcoming superheroine film "Captain Marvel", featuring Brie Larson in the lead, will focus on her origin story, says Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
Feige touched upon the topic of Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, while gushing about "Doctor Strange" actor Benedict Cumberbatch, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"I think Benedict is one of those ways. Benedict is an amazing actor and totally different than (Chris) Hemsworth and totally different from (Robert) Downey (Jr)," Feige said.
He added: "We want to stay true to who he was in the books. The metamorphosis of what he goes through is more drastic than Tony (Stark) and that was fun to chart.
"I guess Black Panther isn't really an origin story since we saw him already in 'Captain America: Civil War', but his stand alone certainly introduces you to 99 percent of his world which you never saw before. And Captain Marvel is certainly an origin story from the start," he added.
