A minor fire broke out onboard Indian Navy's anti-submarine ship Kamorta on Wednesday, but no injuries or casualties were reported, the Indian Navy said.
An official statement said a minor fire was reported onboard the ship in the afternoon while it was operating out at sea.
"The fire was detected in the left engine room. The affected compartment was evacuated immediately and the fire was brought under control by using Fixed Fire System fitted onboard," the statement said.
