One person was killed when an old building collapsed due to heavy rains in Secunderabad, the twin city of Hyderabad.
The incident occurred Tuesday evening in Shivajinagar area.
The deceased was identified as Gopal, who ran an electronics shop in the building.
Rescue workers of Greater Hyderabad Municipal corporation (GHMC) with the help of police were clearing the rubble.
Deputy Mayor Baba Fasihuddin visited the scene and spoke to GHMC officials.
