Two tourists from South Korea had a miraculous escape when their light plane crashed at an airstrip in Tanzania, police said.

The small aircraft crashed Saturday when its Ethiopian pilot was trying to land at the airstrip in Mbulumbulu village in the northern region of Arusha, Xinhua reported.

The plane chartered by tourists flying to Manyara region developed technical faults on its front wheel. However, none of the individuals on board was injured in the accident.

This is the second plane accident in Arusha in two weeks. On Aug 22, seven people survived after their small plane made a forced landing in Lake Manyara.
