Director of upcoming patriotic drama "Yeh Hai India" Lom Harsh says that his film addresses numerous issues before the country, including the JNU row and 'intolerance', and offers solutions to them in an entertaining manner.

"It is depressing that our country is facing issues like what we recently witnessed at the JNU, and also the previous one, related to the intolerance debate.

"But the fact of the matter is that there is a deadlock on both these issues - that's the story of most of the issues that take place in India, the media first hypes it, the government gets blamed, opposition parties attack it, and when the news gets stale, the media stops covering it and the matter is forgotten by the country, without anybody offering any solution." he said.

"Even our films which address various topics, never offer solutions and even if they do, they're unrealistic and cinematic," he said, adding their film addresses these issues as well as others like poverty, gender bias, unemployment and other issues, while also suggesting remedies to solve them.

"Not just issues, we are also highlighting the mammoth achievements and treasures of the country. And we are not giving any 'gyan', all this will be depicted in an entertaining and commercial manner, while also inspiring the audiences," he added.

"Yeh Hai India" stars Gavie Chahal, Deana Uppal, Ashutosh Kaushik, Antara Banerjee, Mogan Agashe, Mohan Joshi among others and is produced by Sandeep Choudhary under the banner of DLB Films Pvt. Ltd.
