A rescue service official says an ultralight plane has crashed in southern Czech Republic, killing both men on board.
Petra Kafkova, spokeswoman for the regional rescue service, says the plane went down today morning near the village of Kondrac near the Austrian border. She would not identify the victims other than to say they were men.
Rescue squads at the scene were unable to resuscitate the men following severe injuries that they sustained.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known, and authorities were investigating.
