Three people were killed and as many injured in an explosion at the workshop of a factory in north China's Shanxi Province today, officials said.
The blast took place early this morning at the Yunhai Aluminium company in Yongji City, they said.
Three people died at the spot while three sustained injuries, the state-run Global Times reported.
The injured were rushed to hospital where their condition is said to be stable.
