The West Bengal government today kicked-off its first roadshow from Mumbai for its forthcoming business summit--Bengal Leads 2015.
The state government had joined hands with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to organise the roadshow, the chamber said here today.
The Global Bengal Business Summit-Bengal Leads 2015, will be on January 7-8 at Prakriti Tirtha Eco Tourism Park at Rajarhat, New Town.

Earlier Bengal Leads were held at Milan Mela, the trade fair centre in city.
Ninad Karpe, immediate Past Chairman, CII Maharashtra state Council and CEO & managing director of Aptech Ltd, delivered the opening remarks at the road show where over 50 industry leaders from sectors including financial, education, IT were among others, a CII statement said.
Debashis Sen, principal secretary Urban Development, WBIDC Managing Director Krishna Gupta, West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC), Sudip Dutta Sr president, Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (ILFS) and Riverbank Developers managing director Sumit Dabriwala made their presentations at the roadshow.
Sen detailing the New Town becoming a top-class township predicted it will be the 'Wall Street of Eastern India'. This can be a reality through a combination of factors - rising Asia, creation of a financial cluster and emerging new Kolkata - he said.
He also encouraged the investors to take a space at the Financial Hub which is seeking application till November 28.
The remaining three Road Shows will be held in Bangalore (November 3), Hyderabad (November 6) and Chennai (November 10).
