Chouhan, governor condole death of Rameshwar Thakur

Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today expressed grief over the death of former Governor of the state, Rameshwar Thakur.

The Governor in his condolence message described Thakur as a soft-spoken freedom fighter and a an eminent economist, an official release said.

During his terms as Union Minister of Finance, Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs, he made important contribution to country's growth, Yadav said.

The Chief Minister said that Thakur discharged his constitutional duties very effectively and efficiently.
