ClearTax, UBI pact to help bank staff,customers e-file returns

Online tax filing portal ClearTax has tied up with the Union Bank of India to help the lender's employees as well as customers file tax returns.

"ClearTax recently extended its platform's seamless tax filing experience by announcing its partnership with Union Bank of India (UBI)", the company said in a statement.

* Digital payments platform FreeCharge has partnered with Westlife Development, owner of the master franchisee for McDonald's west and south India operations.

Under the exclusive partnership, McDonald's has implemented FreeCharge wallet to enable customers make swifter and safer payments, it said in a statement.

ETV's 3 newly launched channels available on Tata Sky

* ETV Network, which recently launched three regional news channels for Assam/NE, Tamil Nadu and Kerala under News18 brand, will now be available on Tata Sky.

Panorama Television owns and operates regional news channels under the ETV brand. It is a part of the Network 18 Group, which is owned by Reliance Industries.

BNRG Renewable, Langmead Group completes 20 MW solar projs * Irish solar company BNRG Renewables in colaboration with the UK-based agribusiness Langmead Group completed 20 MW solar projects in March.

With project funding from HSBC, the company intends to hold the four 5 MW projects located in West Sussex and Wales, the company said in a statement.

The 78,000 solar PV panels required for the projects were supplied by Tata Power Solar.

Kony, Cognizant partner to develop mobile enterprise solutions * Cloud-based enterprise mobility solutions firm Kony and IT company Cognizant today said they will jointly develop and deliver solutions spanning enterprise mobile applications, mobile app design, and mobile back-end services for industries like banking, healthcare and retail.

In a joint statement, the companies said they will deliver expertise in enterprise mobility solutions and digital transformation.

The statement further said clients will have access to a robust mobile middleware back-end service, Cognizant's digital fabric, based on Kony's MobileFabric for enterprise-grade mobile services.
