CM lays foundation for cricket stadium at Tirupati

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kirankumar Reddy today laid the foundation for an International Cricket Stadium to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 30 crore near here.

The stadium would come up on a 30-acre-site situated close to the Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park, official sources said.

Reddy also laid the foundation stone of a Medical College for Women to be constructed on a 26-acre-site at an estimated cost of Rs 182 crore on in the campus of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences here.

Later, the Chief Minister visited the Special Economic Zone, Sri City in Satyavedu and performed Bhumipuja for the construction of 10 industries scheduled to come up at an estimated cost of Rs 1000 crore.
