The local kendra of Doordarshan here has become full-fledged regional station and will now be telecast everyday for fixed number of hours, officials said today.
The centre has been upgraded to Regional Kendra-level effective from November 1, said Kendra Director Satish Vats.
DD Hisar got this achievement after 13 years of its inception, he added.

Doordarshan Kendra, Hisar was inaugurated on November 1, 2002 by Sushama Swaraj, the then Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting.
While earlier programmes were not telecast on a daily basis from the station now it will be telecast at 3.00 PM to 7.00 PM Monday to Saturday and 6.30 to 7.00 PM on Sunday, Vats said.
