Bihar Legislative Assembly today witnessed pandemonium in post-lunch session with BJP members stalling proceedings demanding special debate on deteriorating law and order situation before staging walk out even as the state government stuck to its ground and got a crucial financial bill passed by a voice vote.
As soon as the house re-convened to take up financial business in the post-lunch session, BJP members stormed into the well raising slogans to demand a special debate on law and order situation claiming spurt in crime activities.
The opposition members raised slogans against the state government to prevent the Home Minister In-Charge Vijay Kumar Chaudhary's speech on law and order situation while introducing the supplementary demands of the home department under the second supplementary demands for the fiscal year 2014-15.

As the sloganeering by the BJP legislators grew shriller to render Chaudhary's speech inaudible, the Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary adjourned the house till 4.50 PM.
Once the house re-convened for second time in the afternoon, the BJP members once against trooped into the well and vociferously raised slogans on the law and order situation while the Home Minister In-Charge got up to defend the law and order situation.
The Leader of Opposition (LoP) Nandkishore Yadav was seen interrupting Chaudhary and questioning his right to speak on law and order situation as he was not the home minister, the latter retorted saying that he had been speaking on the issues related to home department during the days when Yadav used to sit on treasury bench as a minister of the erstwhile NDA government.
