At least three persons were killed and two children missing in floods triggered by heavy rains in Nepal's western Bajhang district, police said today.
Two women and a man residing in Thalara rural municipality area were swept away by the flooded Guhe river last night, they said.
Their bodies were recovered this morning, the police said, adding that two children have also gone missing in the incident.
A team of officials has been mobilised to carry out relief and rescue operations.
Some houses have also been swept away in the flooding.
