Acclaimed French filmmaker Pascal Plisson today shot scenes of Super 30, the dream project of mathematician Anand Kumar of preparing students from humble background to qualify for IITs.
Plisson, who has won several awards and specialises in documentaries about men living in extreme conditions, shot scenes of the class in progress at Super 30 here and interviewed students.
"It has been a fascinating and incredible experience shooting and talking to Anand Kumar, his family members, who remain totally involved in Super 30, the students, whose unwavering focus is admirable, and their parents, whose hopes are with their children," Plisson told reporters.

Plisson is known for making films for National Geographic, the BBC and Discovery Channel.
His documentary film 'On the way to School' has won wide critical acclaim.
The French filmmaker, who is in India since the past fortnight, had earlier captured the story of life of a girl student of Super 30, Niddhi Jha, daughter of an autodriver.
"I am very impressed with the humble setting of Super 30 academy at the house of Anand Kumar and the devotion with which Kumar and his family are serving the cause," Plisson said.
He said he was making documentaries on such social themes in four countries including India, Cuba, Uganda and Mongolia.
The 30-minute documentary would be released in October 2015 in France. Plisson extended an invitation to Anand Kumar to be present at the premier show of the movie in Paris.
The making of a movie by a French national is another International accolade for Anand Kumar whose achievements have been highlighted in the past by way of films and reports in various journals.
His inspiring story has been telecast in various channels in India and abroad.
A film on Super 30 bagged Audience Choice Award at the sixth Indian Film Festival at Los Angeles, USA in 2009.
In 2006, actor-director Aamir Khan showcased Super 30 in his 'Rang de Basanti' programme.
Former Miss Japan Norika Fujiwara had visited Patna to make a film on the subject for TV Man Union in 2007.
