Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Zaka Ashraf had stopped working as the PCB chief following the Islamabad High Court's (IHC) order to suspend him.
As a result of the IHC order yesterday, the Board of Governors (BoG) decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting of PCB that Ashraf was to chair in Karachi as well as a scheduled Board of Governors meeting until further notice.
Ashraf confirmed that he had distanced himself from PCB affairs as the court has set the next date of hearing for June 13.

Interestingly, by June 13 a new government would also take oath and a new Prime Minister would be elected in Pakistan.
"The decision to postpone the meetings was taken by BoG members. I wasn't a part of it due to the court order. Our legal experts will examine the case and decide the future course of action," Ashraf said.
The legal advisor of PCB, Tafazzul Rizvi also flew down to Karachi to hold meetings with Ashraf and other board members to discuss the future course of action.
"We intend to defend the case and we will provide full facts to the honourable court in our reply and try to get a date for the hearing earlier than June 13," said Rizvi.
