Two antique idols, cash worth Rs 15,000 and other valuables were allegedly stolen from a temple here.
As per the complaint filed by Subhash Sharma, two antique idols, Rs 15,000 and other valuables were stolen from Jayanti Devi temple situated here yesterday, police said.
Sharma, the temple priest said that the locks of the temple were found broken by his son who had gone to offer morning prayers.
He claimed that he and his son used to sleep in the temple itself.
Police added that a case has been registered in the incident and the investigation was on.
