Achalpur-Paratwada MLA Bacchu Kadu was felicitated with 'Efficient MLA' award, constituted in the memory of late Member of Legislative Council Madhavrao Limaye.
Kadu, an Independent legislator, was yesterday presented with Rs 50,000 and a memento here by senior Congress leader Vinayak Dada Patil.
The MLA said he would utilize the prize money towards work for widows and the differently-abled.
The annual award has been initiated in the memory of the late socialist leader, journalist and MLC Madhavrao Limaye.
