Mindtree appoints Ralf Reich head of DACH region

IT services firm Mindtree today announced the appointment of Ralf Reich as the Business Head for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

Reich will be responsible for growing the mid-sized IT services firm's presence across industries like banking, financial services, insurance, retail, manufacturing, travel and transportation.

Before joining Mindtree, Ralf was Vice President & Regional Head DACH at Wipro and prior to this he was the Country Head for Germany. He started his career at IBM in Germany and has held leadership positions at both Hewlett Packard and Unisys.

Evalueserve appoints Robert Eiselt as Chief Marketing Officer * KPO solution provider Evalueserve today said it has appointed Robert Eiselt as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
 

Before joining the firm Eiselt was the senior marketing director (EMEA) at Red Hat. He joined Evalueserve mid-April 2014, the firm said in a release

He is responsible for strengthening the firm's brand in global markets as well as developing and implementing marketing strategies, it added.

Eiselt has over 20 years of experience in senior marketing positions at technology firms like Red Hat, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Dell and Compaq.

Polycom to appoint Michael Frendo as EVP Worldwide Engineering * Communications technology company Polycom today said Michael Frendo will be joining the firm as Executive VP of Worldwide Engineering, effective today.

In this role, Frendo will be responsible for global engineering delivery and execution, driving efficient business operations and lifecycle management for Polycom's portfolio of video, voice and content collaboration solutions, it said in a release.

Frendo will assume responsibility from A E Natarajan who will be leaving Polycom. Frendo will be a member of Polycom's executive team and will report to President and CEO Peter Leav, it added.

Juniper Networks to build data center for UBS * Software serivces firm Juniper Networks has announced that it will build a next generation enterprise data center network infrastructure for global financial services firm UBS.

UBS plans to implement key components of Juniper's MetaFabric architecture, an open standards-based architecture with proven routing, switching, security, management and orchestration solutions, to support the bank's current and future business goals, it said in a release.

Many financial service institutions face unprecedented pressures ranging from changing economic conditions to increased regulations and rapidly evolving technologies - all while needing to optimise their cost structure, it added.
