One person was charred to death and another seriously injured when a lorry and a van collided and burst into flames near here today.
The victims were travelling in the van.
The vehicles, which were gutted, caught fire after the petrol tank of the lorry exploded, police said.
The van was carrying paint boxes.
The lorry driver fled from the spot, police said, adding, the injured has been admitted to hospital.
