According to police, the device has a circuit? connected with an inverter, a switch and 'pvc' pipe and small?quantity of gunpowder bundled together with an insulation tape.
It was found by passers-by in the afternoon yesterday. ? ? ?
Bomb disposal squad have taken possession of the pipe bomb, police said.
Police suspect it could be an attempt by workers of? some political parties to create panic in the area.
Police said a similar object was detected near the offering box of a temple in the area two weeks ago.
A case against unknown persons has been registered, they added.
