The J&K Government has embarked upon a multi-pronged strategy to rationalise traffic movement in the two cities of Jammu and Kashmir, Urban Development Minister Nwang Rigzin Jora said today.
The strategy includes implementation of comprehensive mobility plans for Srinagar and Jammu cities at a cost of Rs 22,000 crore, he said.
The mobility plan for Srinagar has been finalised while that for Jammu is nearing completion, he said.

The plan includes construction of multi-tier parking lots and bus stands, expressway corridors and flyovers.
As many as six projects costing Rs 564 crore have been submitted to the Centre for funds, Jora added.
