Marathi actress Sai Tamhankar, who will seen in a double role in her next film 'Guru Pournima', said she had a difficult time essaying two different roles.
"It was very difficult. To play two characters convincingly is not easy. And especially when you don't have any traits similar to that character... So you have to create a different person all together. I had a tough time," Sai told PTI here.
Other cast members of the film were also present at the announcement of the film here, which is slated to release on September 12.

Directed by Girish Mohite, the film has Upendra Limaye and Sulabha Arya in the lead roles. It is a story of a young aspiring youth and his lady love. Sai is playing the double role of Pournima and Akansha in the movie.
"The character of Pournima is very egoistic, while you will get to know about Akansha's personality only after watching the film," said Sai.
The movie, however, has faced some controversy from a right wing Hindu organisation. They have objected to the title as the word depicts 'teacher-pupil' relationship.
"We will run the disclaimer before the starting of the movie to say that 'Guru Pournima' are just two names and have nothing to do with teacher-student relationship," producer Manoj Caculo said.
Director Mohite said that the film is entirely content driven.
"The content of the movie is such that everyone including youngsters to senior citizen would be able to associate with it," he said.
The film, which will be released across Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka's Belgaum city, has been shot extensively in Goa.
