Angry over being neglected by BJP and Congress in distribution of tickets, Rajasthan Ravana Rajput Samaj today threatened to either use the NOTA option or support Independent candidates during the upcoming Assembly polls.

The Ravana Rajput Samaj, which comprises seven per cent of the total population in the sate, also said that it may join the poll fray if its demands are not addressed.

"Two days are still lying for filing nomination papers and both the Congress and the BJP should give tickets to candidates, at least one, to Ravana Rajput Samaj (RRS) now to avoid any anger," its convener Ranjeet Singh Sodala told a press conference here.

"RSS would field four of its candidates as Independents, if either parties, Congress or BJP, does not address to its demands," he further warned.

The Political Sangarsh Samiti of the RSS will hold its emergency meeting in Jaipur on November 25 to finally decided its next move, he said.

RSS' seven leaders had applied for nominations in BJP and Congress. But none was selected due to their partial attitude, he added.
