*Shemaroo launches movie premier service with Airtel

Film content provider Shemaroo Entertainment today launched movie premiere service Miniplex on the platform of DTH operator Airtel Digital TV.

Miniplex would be available on Bharti group owned DTH platform as a subscription based interactive channel, where a subscriber would have to pay Rs 60 per month to watch selected range of recently released movies.

Besides, Shemaroo has plans to introduce Miniplex on other platforms as cable, online in a phased manner, the firm said.

FoxyMoron bags digital mandate for Aeropostale India * Digital marketing and media solutions agency FoxyMoron today said its Bangalore office has won the digital mandate for apparel brand Aeropostale India.
 

The account was won following a multi-agency pitch, the company said in a statement.

As part of the mandate, FoxyMoron will work towards creating innovative digital marketing engagements for the brand that is set to open its first store this month in New Delhi.

'Gyansetu', developed by C-DOT gets Excellence Award * A product, aimed to bridge the connectivity gaps in rural areas, developed by state-owned C-DOT has received the Excellence Award at the ITU World Telecom 2015 event held at Budapest, Hungary this month.

The product 'Gyansetu', is a web based application which facilitates the rural masses to connect with internet through local languages. It has self-explanatory large image icons and minimal texts.

It provides results in text format along with audio announcements in the language selected by the user.
