A 78-year-old Sri Lankan tourist, who was missing two days ago, was found dead in a pond at Korean temple of neighbouring Sharavasti district, police said today.

According to the police, the cause of Paltha Sunil Kriti Singhe's death was due to drowning in the temple pond at Ikauna area.

Singhe was part of a team of 63 tourists which had reached the temple on the night of Aug 11 and were staying in the temple guest house.
