Sushma Swaraj meets Lankan PM, Singapore counterpart

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today met Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and discussed bilateral relations.

Swaraj, who is here to attend the 2nd Indian Ocean Conference, met Wickremesinghe on the sidelines of the two-day meeting.

"Consolidating bilateral relationship. EAM @SushmaSwaraj meets Sri Lankan PM Ranil Wickremesinghe @RW_UNP on the margins of Indian Ocean Conference," Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

Swaraj also held a separate meeting with her Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan.

"Bilateral engagement at multilateral forum. EAM @SushmaSwaraj meets Mr. @VivianBala , Foreign Minister of Singapore in Colombo," Kumar tweeted.

The conference is being jointly organised by the India Foundation, the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Singapore, and the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS), Colombo.
