Three boys of a family today drowned inside a water tank at Thimmapur village in Warangal Urban district, police said.
The deceased were identified as G Manoj Kumar (14), G Sai Krishna (13) and G Jyothi Vardhan (12), who belonged to a family, said K Satheesh Chander Rao, Circle Inspector of Police-Elkathurthy.
The trio was unable to gauge the depth of the water tank and fell into it, after which they drowned, the officer said.
After receiving information, we rushed to the spot and fished out their bodies, which have been sent for post-mortem, Rao said, adding a probe was on.
