Three children died while another was injured today after the wall of an under construction building here collapsed on them, police said.
Four children, including a girl, aged between 7 and 10, from Kothadonka area had gone to the building this afternoon and were playing, when the wall fell on them, they said.
While three boys died on the spot, the girl was rushed to hospital with injuries, they added.
Senior police officials along with representatives of Childline visited the spot and conducted enquiry.
MLA Damacharla Janardhan consoled the parents of the children and promised necessary help.
A case has been registered and investigating is on, police said.
