Three minors were drowned and two bodies including a torso recovered from different parts of Jharkhand today, police said.
A seven-year-old girl, Dipali Sharma of Adityapur in adjoining Seraikela-Kharswan district, went to a nearby river with her Mother to have bath when she was washed away in the strong current, police said.
The river water has risen due to incessant rains here as well as adjoining Odisha.

A body of 45-year-old unidentified body has been recovered from Domuhani river under Sonari police station, said Officer-in-charge of the police station Vinod Kumar Paswan.
Prima facie, he said, the body was seemed to washed away in the strong current and stuck up in a rock.
No injury mark was found on the body, he added.
In an another incident, two boys have drowned in a local pond when they have gone to have bath while another managed to swim ashore in Khunti in Khunti district, police said.
The incident occurred when 10-year-old Roshan Kumar and his cousin Bunty (12) went into the pond and betted as who will remain longer under water.
In the process, both the boys drowned as the water level of the pond increased due to the incessant rains that lashed the district for last two days.
The bodies have been recovered and sent for post-mortem.
A report from Ramgarh district said a torso of an unidentified man was recovered from Patratu under Patratu police station.
The head and two legs of the body was chopped off and missing.
Superintendent of police, M Tamilvanan said police was investigating the incident.
He expressed doubt that the victim was murdered somewhere else and the torso dumped here.
