A Haryana tourist has been found dead at a guest house in Malviya Nagar area here.
Udit Gupta (32), a resident of Hisar, was supposed to vacate the room yesterday, police said, adding that but when the owner of the guest house did not get any response from inside he broke open the door last evening.
Gupta was found dead by them. The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained, police said.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a woman was run over by a train in Jhotwara area here.
The deceased was identified as Sushma Choudhary of Vaishalinagar and prima facie it appears that she has committed suicide, police said.
The deceased left her home in the wee hours without informing anyone, police said.
