Twin engine aircraft for RG Aviation Academy

: The Kerala government plans to acquire a twin engine aircraft for the Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy here.

Inaugurating the new hanger at nearby Chacka here yesterday, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said the Rs six crore twin engine aircraft would be bought for the Academy.

The Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy would be made a model institution, he said, adding an airstrip would also be constructed here to impart training to students.

State Ministers K Babu, V S Sivakumar, City Mayor K Chandrika and others were present on the occasion.
