Two children including a girl were killed and three others were injured after they were attacked by honey bees in Chhattisgarh's Korba district.
The incident took place last evening when the five children of a family had gone to a forest to graze cattle at Kumhari Darri village, some 80 kms away from here, Pasan police station house officer P Kispotta said.
Ther victims were near the Bamhani river on the outskirts of the village when the bees attacked them, leaving the two-and-half years old Shankar Pando dead on the spot.

The other four managed to reach the village and were taken to a local community health centre. Shankar's sister Rajni died during the treatment, Kispotta said.
Rita (8), Geeta (6) and Ravishankar (4) were being treated at Pendra community health centre.
