Packaging company Uflex has reported a 7.99 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 93.05 crore for the first quarter ended on June 30, 2017.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 86.16 crore during the April-June quarter a year ago, Uflex said in a BSE filing.
Its total income was at Rs 1,710.52 crore, up 7.60 per cent, during the quarter under review as against Rs 1,589.67 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2015-16.

Uflex's total expenses were at Rs 1,561.97 crore, up 7.88 per cent, as against Rs 1,447.77 crore.
Uflex consolidated revenue from flexible packaging activities was Rs 1,617.48 crore, up 7.44 per cent, during the quarter as against Rs 1,505.47 crore of the corresponding quarter.
Revenue from engineering activities was down 2.01 per cent to Rs 104.14 crore as against Rs 106.28 crore.
Shares of Uflex today settled at Rs 3,386.55 on BSE, up 3.51 per cent from previous close.
