At least five people were killed today in a US drone attack in Pakistan's lawless tribal region, officials said.
The drone fired two missiles at a house in Shawal area of South Waziristan.
A security official said that five people were killed in the attack which destroyed the house.
US drone strikes are opposed by Pakistan which says they violate its sovereignty and increase support for militancy.
